We have the pleasure to invite you to the World Powergolf Matchplay Championship 2012, the 4-8th of July at Orresta GC, Sweden, approximately 45 min from Stockholm and the airport.
The Championship will have a limit of 80 Open division competitors, 24 Senior division competitors and 16 Lady division competitors. The minimum limit in the last 2 are 8 in each division. The first day of competition will be 2 sets of balls, for each player, to determine the ranking amongst all players.The second day will start off the matchplay. A match is determined in best of 3 sets, of 5 balls. First to win 2 sets goes through to the next round. That will mean that every player is guaranteed 4 sets of hitting.
The 3rd day is Pro-am day and the 4th day are for top 16 in Open division as well as top 4 in Seniors and Ladies division.
At the moment the winners will take 150.000, 40.000, 15.000 SEK in Open, Senior and Ladies respectively. We will update money and sponsors when everything is finalized.
